There is no place like home.

First I want to apologize for a lack of pictures.  We bought a new camera last week (a digital SLR – AWSOME) and it took me a while to figure it all out.  I put the pictures that I took in the NICU last week on the side of my blog.  If you click see […]

The good, the bad, and THE REALLY UGLY.

Wed.  (6/16) I was very anxious to hear what the results of the cath. conference were and got there pretty early.  Guess who was there.  Yes, it was another day of Humpty Dumpty (see previous post).  I had yet to this point had the same nurse twice so it didn’t even occur to me that […]

Days 6-8.

Sun. was just a quiet day at the NICU, not many Dr.’s were around and Logan ate well, and we just cuddled him all day.  He oxygen levels were coming down (which is good for him) and they were looking to be more in the mid 80′s instead of the 90′s.  We were told if […]

Days 4 and 5.

We had a VERY good two days.  On the 4th day we started out talking with the surgeon again and the conversation went much better.  He was less aggressive about surgery talk and even told us it was looking like we wouldn’t need surgery next week.  I am wondering if maybe he had a talk […]

Last Night

This is it, the last night before Logan is born.  I am sooo not ready but surprisingly numb.  I had a few little breakdowns thru the day but otherwise just been busy getting ready.  Another sad thing that is going on is that while I am in the hospital someone is coming to take two […]

Last OB Appointment.

We had our last OB appt. today.  We had our last ultrasound and our last NST.  Everything looked good on the Ultrasound.  Logan measured 6 lbs. 6 oz. (+/-  1 pound) puts him at 35% for weight.  Umbilical cord pressures were fine and our NST was perfect.  I met Dr. Lanvin for the first time he is […]

Count Down to Baby.

It is one week from today that I will be delivering Logan via C-section (unless I go into labor before then, obviously).  I am getting pretty nervous.  It hit me last night that on top of everything else, I am going to have to have major surgery, which I am not looking forward too.  The […]
